Teaching how to be a Hero!

I had some trouble with the ADHD label and my son this last year...talk about tears and trauma!
(see ADHD means Awesome Day, Happy Day!-in Pages)

Upon realizing that my son just needed to see his mama become a HERO and have the strong desire to do so himself...I took a 17 year old idea and turned the tables on our ADHD problems....

My son, and I started the PEACE Program (people expressing actions constructively everyday)...and for one of the goals, we went about at the beginning of the year, collecting food from the neighbors, for the neighbors...we have now begun the sharing of the foods...between several families that live together...just down on our street...My big boy got to give away probably 50 meals worth of goodies! He was super proud of himself! All this was gathered in just two 30 minute trips around the neighborhood! And there is more to come!
**One of the major things that coincided with showing my son how to be a HERO in life, was Life Lessons....which we have begun...basically teaching him of God/Creator/energy...and what the Creator would want for us in our lives...and so, our first Life Lesson was on our first food gathering..."Love your neighbor as you would love yourself!"
Sound simple, but it is working miracles for us! So become a Hero today, in your own way! :-D
